Android 11 launched |
Android 11 was officially and finally launched yesterday after months of betas — and obviously getting a wider release than we all expected, with the latest version of the operating system launched yesterday and not only to Pixel devices but to phones from OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Realme spotted to get the update.
As anticipated, the final version of the Android 11 is now officially available to download on the Pixel 2, 3, 3A, 4, and 4A. Furthermore, OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will be getting Android 11 final version yesterday in North America, Europe, and India through an open beta, as well Oppo’s X2 and Reno 3. However, Google also promises to expect “more partners launching and upgrading devices over the coming months to the latest Android 11 software,” so yesterday’s launch was obviously the first of many Android 11 update announcements for the next few weeks.
Android 11 brings with it enhanced privacy, new chat-related features and smarter media and device controls, as well as some Pixel-exclusive additions.
Android 11 adds a variety of new features to Google’s mobile operating system, although as a whole, the update is focused less on adding new functionality and more on making it easier to manage the myriad things your phone can already do. The major change is how Android 11 deals conversations by grouping notifications from messaging apps out into its own section in the drop-down notification shade and adding a Facebook Messenger-style bubble interface to make them more accessible and user friendly.

Here are some exclusive couple of features specifically for the Google Pixel devices even though more devices will obviously get the Android 11 Update.
