The team behind PUBG announced that it would be making a new game called PUGB: New State, earlier this year.
Now, the alpha test rollouts general time frame has been confirmed.
PUGB: New State is expected to see alpha rollouts sometime within the next few months. Though, no details was given on the venue, where the tests will be carried out. So players shouldn’t be excited just yet.
Alpha tests will roll out “in select regions” – according to Krafton Inc. the important thing to take note of here is the use of “tests”, not “test. This means that there’s likely to be more than one test planned, or, that multiple regions would be included in the testing phase.
It shouldn’t be long for players to know the countries that will be included in the tests and then they will start.
According to reports, over 10 million players have pre-registered. In the month of March, Krafton and PUGB Studio announced that over 5 million players had pre-registered to have access to the game as soon as it’s launched. It’s obvious the excitement for the upcoming battle royale title is very high.
The impressive thing about this is that this pre-registration is only on Android. So in more months to come, the number of persons that has registered will increase in number. Those that pre-register will have some special in-game rewards.
Nevertheless, pre-registration does not guarantee one access into the alpha or beta tests that pop up.
