Following recent updates from the company, the new coronavirus situation is obviously generating a lot of tension in the world, and as for this results to Apple closing all 17 retail stores in Italy indefinitely as coronavirus now becomes a threat. 





The dangerous virus which started from Wuhan, China is now spreading to other parts of the world. As of this day, there are over 125,000 verified cases and over 4,500 deaths in China. Western European country, Italy, is the second most affected nation after China. As of the time of this post, Italy has over 12,000 cases and the death toll is over 800. To this end, Apple recently announced that it is closing all its 17 retail stores in Italy indefinitely.


In a statement on Wednesday by Apple:

“As we support the work to contain and manage the spread of Covid-19, our priority remains the health and safety of everyone in the communities we serve,”

Although Apple stores will be closed, the company will still provide customers with online and telephone support as for now.
