NIN linking sim registration deadline extended – See New Deadline
Goodnews! The sim linking registration deadline has been extended to help ensure everyone is able to complete the NIN linking process as directed by NCC.

Due to the massive turnup amid sim registration linking with NIN, the Government has strategically extended the NIN linking registration date for both those yet to get their NIN registration and those having the NIN and is yet to get their sims linked.
The new deadline date for NIN sim linking registration is as follows respectively…
The Government have given three weeks extension date for subscribers who already has the NIN. However, the Government gave six weeks extension date to those yet to get their NIN registration done.
- Three (3) weeks extension for active subscribers with National Identity Number (NIN) from 30th December, 2020 to 19th January, 2021.
- Six (6) weeks extension for subscribers without National Identity Number (NIN) from 30th December, 2020 to 9th February, 2021.

This was stated on Monday December 21st by the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
