Then Falling in love with the tribe’s princess, Neytiri who is played by Zoe Saldaña, Jake then realizes he must fight and protect the natural resources for the Na’vi people to survive.
Avatar has the record of the highest-grossing movie of all time since its debut over ten years ago. It recently lost the record to Avengers: Endgame that was released in 2019,but right after its 2021 re-release in China, Avatar regained the record for highest grossing movie once again.
The film has started immediate plans for a franchise with Cameron as the director. Avatar is actually the second time the director has had a huge success at the box office,with the first being with his famous epic drama Titanic.

20th Century Studios released a report, which says it earned an additional $10 million domestically with Disney’s re-release of the film, which puts at number 3 on the box office charts this weekend.
This result was generated from IMAX distributing it in just 1,860 locations. Also In international report, it topped the global charts, earning a whopping $20.5 million from 50 territories.
This makes Avatar’s gross earnings worldwide this weekend $30.5 million.
these positive results are overwhelming, especially since this re-release debuted on a weekend in September, this simply means that the upcoming release is on the right course.
With such huge gap between installments, there have been certain doubts about the upcoming avatar: the way of water performing just as the first one.
However, it is evident that Cameron’s fiction world and impressive visuals still hold a huge significance in today’s industry, most especially on the big screen.
