A spinoff from the loved television series power book focuses on the life of Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) the son of James St. Patrick A.K.A. Ghost created by Courtney A. Kemp that premiered on September 6, 2020 on starz.
St. Patrick Tariq navigates his new life, in which his desire to shed his father’s legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family.
Along the way, Tariq gets entangled in the affairs of the cutthroat Tejada family, adding further complications as he tries to balance his drug operations with his education, love life, family affairs, and mounting pressure from Cooper Saxe.
He divides his time between school and hustling to pay for his mother’s defense attorney, but when he runs out of options, Tariq turns to a familiar drug game.
Currently running for the third season which is set to return to television soon.
The speculations for the premiere date at Starz is very much ongoing and while nothing may be official, we can still look for clues!
Popular fan theory suggests that Ghost will not be back until Black Mafia Family (BMF) season 2 over — if that is the case, we could be waiting until March!
Given that Starz has yeWould Ghost Return In Power Book II?t to even start promoting season 3 of the Michael Rainey Jr. drama, we don’t think that this is all that irresponsible of a prediction to make at this point.

Clearly, the network is keeping their cards close to the vest for some reason; it may just because they have to reason to hurry this along with it not premiering anytime soon.
Assuming that BMF season 2 premieres on January 8, which is the earliest date in the month we could see it coming back.
It is rumoured that this season will have more episodes than season 1, so its safe to assume we’d be having ten episodes.
That means that the series would conclude on March 12, which would make Ghost set for March 19.
This is provided that BMF airs an episode on Super Bowl (Sunday, 12 February), which is not a given. Ghost could start on March 26.
Considering that there are a lot of variables at play here, including that Starz could choose to air these two shows at the same time for a few weeks; one doesn’t have to directly follow the other.
We just see it mostly as a way for them to keep their subscribers as long as possible.
