Since the pandemic, Zoom has become an essential part of the modern-day workforce. To offer a nice meeting experience for everyone, Zoom is announcing a slate of new features.
The new features were announced by the company in a blog post via TechRadar, while also bringing new additions to Zoom Events. As most Zoom users already know, the virtual backgrounds can be changed in any meeting.
Nonetheless, this also gives room to the user making use of a sensitive/private virtual background while on a work call. To correct this, Zoom has said it will allow admins to set a default virtual background which will automatically reset at the beginning of each call or meeting.
More About The Zoom New Features
So this feature gives no room to the individual having to change the virtual background while switching between private or work-related meetings. Although this isn’t seen as a problem that affects many.
Zoom admins can now add a video to the virtual waiting room. Inaddition to this minor addition, Zoom now allows hosts to add a video to the virtual waiting room. This is the virtual area where call participants wait before being given permission to join the meeting.
Furthermore, during a meeting, admins can now enable or disable the visual Watermark. That said, this feature functions when all participants are using the latest version of the Zoom desktop client.
