Samsung recently launched two new affordable smartphones, Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e.
Both devices have a slick design because they are aimed at the youth.
The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e have been available in markets outside of India for a few months now.
Features of Samsung Galaxy A04, Galaxy A04e
Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e have 6.5-inch PLS LCD screens with Full HD + resolution and Infinity-V notch.
Both phones have a dual camera setup on the back, but only the Galaxy A04 has a 50MP main camera.
Galaxy A04e is satisfied with the 13 MP main camera, both phones have 2MP depth sensors to help with portrait shots.
On the front, both new phones have a 5MP selfie camera, Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e max out 1080p 30fps video recording with the front and rear cameras.
Samsung has equipped two of its new affordable phones with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor.
Galaxy A04e comes in three variants: 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
Galaxy A04 has 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory, both phones have expandable storage thanks to a microSD card slot and run Android 12 out of the box.
RAM can be expanded virtually up to an additional 4 GB thanks to RAM Plus.
Unfortunately, none of these phones support 5G networks, The Galaxy A04 has GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy A04e has similar connectivity options except for Wi-Fi 5, as the phone is limited to Wi-Fi b/g/n.
Both devices are powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 15W fast charging.

Galaxy A04 is available in black, bronze and green colors.
The version with 64 GB storage costs INR 11,999 (about $145), while the version with 128 GB storage costs INR 12,999 (about $157).
The 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB versions of the Galaxy A04e are priced at INR 9,299 (about $112), INR 9,999 (about $121) and INR 11,499 (about $140), respectively.
Buyers can get INR 1,000 cashback with IDFC First, Samsung Finance+ and Zest cards.
The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e will be available on Samsung.com and select retailers from December 20, 2022.
