Android 12 update has been released by Samsung to the Galaxy S10 5g series three weeks back. After which the update has expanded to other countries all over the world.
Now, an Android 12 update has been released by the South Korean firm to the Galaxy S10 5G in South Korea and the US. You can find the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S10 5G on Verizon’s network.
This update comes with firmware version G977UVRU8GULD and comprise the January 2022 security patch.
In South Korea, it’s through the firmware version G977NKSU6GULB the smartphone is getting the Android 12 update but it includes the December 2021 security patch.

You can check for the new update if you’re a 5G user in South Korea or the US by going to settings, then to software update and then tapping on Download and install.
The appropriate firmware file can be downloaded from the database and manually flashed using a Windows computer.
Galaxy S10 5G was launched by Samsung in early 2019. It is the world’s first 5G smartphone, and was launched in limited markets. The Galaxy S10 5G smartphone came with Android 9 out of the box.
It was updated to Android 10 in 2020, the Android 11 update in early 2021, and the Android 12–based One UI 4.0 update in early 2022. The device will not receive any major Android OS update in the future.
