This tutorial is strictly for those with root access.
We have two major known VPN apps that have Hotspot Tether(ROOT) access.
- HTTP injectorđź’‰ VPN
- KPN rev Tunnel đź’™
Tether hotspot connection on HTTP injector
Procedures: Root Access >>> HTTP injector or KPN Rev Tunnel
- Simply launch your HTTP injector >>>>
- Click on the 3 dotted icon on the right >>>>
- Tap on Tether connection and wait for HTTP to be granted root access >>>>
- Click on grant when prompted >>>>
- Then you should get a notification saying HTTP has been granted Root Access.
- Close your HTTP app to ensure a smooth run and connection.
- After that launch your HTTP injector and start it, when connected activate your hotspot and click on tether connection.
You should see a notification saying
“Hotspot Activated successfully”or so as the case may be.
Finally, you have successfully activated your VPN and can now tether Internet connection to other devices using Hotspot.
For KPN Rev Tunnel, no much write-ups.
Same procedures with HTTP but different VPN app.
- Simply launch your KPN >>>>
- Click on the 3 dotted icon on the right >>>>
- Tap on VPN Tether (ROOT) >>>
- Click on Hotspot Tether and wait for KPN to be granted root access >>>>
- Click on grant when prompted >>>>
- Then you should get a notification saying KPN has been granted Root Access.
- Close your KPN app to ensure a smooth run and connection.
After that launch your KPN and start, when connected, Repeat step 3 and 4 and you are done.
You should see a notification saying
Hotspot Activated successfully ” or so as the case may be.
Now you have successfully tethered hot-spot connection to another device using VPN Internet connection.
