II. Who can migrate to the New MTN BetaTalk plan?

This is indeed going to be a great news for all BetaTalk tariff Plan customer. Firstly for those asking what BetaTalk is all about, here we go.

What is MTN BetaTalk?

MTN BetaTalk is a prepaid tariff plan that rewards you with 150% airtime bonus on every recharge below N100 and 250% airtime bonus on recharges from N100 and above. You also enjoy 30MB data for N50 on BetaTalk.

Who can migrate to the New MTN BetaTalk plan?

All MTN Prepaid customers can migrate to MTN BetaTalk tariff plan from there existing tariff.

Now here is the good news, lest not forget, we all know that if you are on BetaTalk and you do a top up of N1000, you get your N1000 and still get N2500 bonus airtime to call all networks in Nigeria.

That is no news at all, right?

Now think of subscribing for a monthly data subscription with your N1000. You observe that instead of your data to be going, rather it’s your airtime bonus going off. This is a big disadvantage for all BetaTalk subscribers.

The good news is that, you can now have your bonus intact while your data is being used instead, while surfing the internet.

I don’t know if it’s a trick or not, but I observed this for past 2weeks now and I think it’s actually a good one.

How to set this up:

Yes, I observed it works in two different ways and I will be dropping them below.

Firstly

You actually don’t need to set up anything, just migrate to MTN BetaTalk by dialling USSD or Text

Simply dial *123*2*1# or text BT to 131

Just recharge and subscribe. You will be given airtime bonus and you can surf the internet without your bonus data being deducted.

Secondly

Go to your APN settings

Create a new APN with details below

•Name: Droidvilla

•APN: glosecure

Now tap on save!

It also works just great with that method too.

Note: you should use the second method if and only if the first didn’t work for you.

Now that is all, hope this is a good observation and now you should have a More value of your money. By doing a top up of N1000 gives you N2500 airtime and your N1000 can be used for subscription which doesn’t affect your airtime bonus anymore.
