Motorola is preparing to unveil its Edge 30 series soon. We are expecting two models at least, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro and Edge 30 Ultra.
There may be a third model as well but not much has been heard about it, at least not yet. Meanwhile, ahead of its launc, the Edge 30 Pro has appeared in one more leak.
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro will arrive as the international variant of the Motorola Edge X30 that was launched in China as the world’s first phone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Nevertheless, the upcoming phone will feature minor differences over it, according to the new report. This consist an under-display fingerprint scanner while the original model has a capacitive unit mounted at the side.
Another obvious change coming with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is the location of the iconic Moto batwing logo.
While this logo is seen towards the center of the back panel, often comprising a fingerprint scanner on lower-cost models, the logo will be located at the bottom left corner of the upcoming device.
However, the rest of the design remains unchanged from the Edge X30. So the device will have a centered punch-hole display together with fairly thin bezels and a vertically-aligned triple camera setup on the back.
The power and volume buttons will be on the right while a third physical button will sit on the left. The colors of the phone could be offered in Black and Pearl White colors by Motorola.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro Possible Specs
The specs of the Motorola Edge X30 hould be retained as the specs of Motorola Edge 30 Pro. This is because it’s a re-branded version of the phone. We are talking about a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor would be supported by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage memory.
CAMERA
We suspect the primary camera on the back to be a 50-megapixel sensor, followed by another 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 60-megapixel camera will be at the front for selfies and video calls.
Other key specs and features are a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, Android 12-based software and NFC support.
Although Motorola hasn’t yet announced the launch date for its Edge 30 series, the volume of leaks lately suggests that the official unveiling of the devices isn’t far off. So stay tuned.
