Oppo has secretly expanded its A-series with the debut of the Oppo A77 5G smartphone in Thailand. The new smartphone appears fairly similar to the Oppo Reno 8 series that was just announced by the Chinese firm.
Oppo has launched the Oppo A77 5G as its latest A-series entry. The all-new Oppo A77 is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, comes with 6GB of RAM, and has a dual-camera configuration on the rear.
The device flaunts its Oppo Glow design, which the firm says makes it scratch and wear-resistant. The smartphone’s other notable features include a 5,000 mAh battery, 33W SUPERVOOC charging, and a 90Hz display.

The Oppo A77 5G’s Specifications
The recently launched Oppo A77 5G measures 163.8 x 75.1 7.99mm and features a 90Hz 6.56-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels, a pixel density of 269 PPI, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support.
Oppo’s A-series smartphones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, which is combined with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device is available with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal capacity. Consumers can elect to further extend the RAM by up to 5GB by utilizing virtual memory extension.
Oppo has chosen a dual-camera system with a 48MP primary shooter and an f/1.7 lens, as well as a secondary 2MP depth sensor and an f/2.4 lens for the optics. On the front, there’s an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the smartphone and enables 33W SUPERVOOC rapid charging. The phone also contains a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics and security.
There’s an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, a 3.5mm headphone connector, and a USB-C port. The phone runs Android 12.1, based on ColorOS, 12.1 out of the box and weighs 190 grams.
The Oppo A77 5G handset’s connectivity choices include Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors aboard include a magnetic field sensor, optical proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gravity sensor, and pedometer.
Oppo A77 5G Pricing and Availability
The Oppo A77 5G costs THB 9,999 (approximately Rs 22,500) and comes in a single storage configuration of 6GB + 128GB. Midnight Black and Ocean Blue are the two color options for the smartphone.
