Oppo could be on a mission to confuse both customers and the media. Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G was recently introduced in Spain. As expected, it’s a rebranded Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G, which is identical to the Oppo F21 Pro 5G for India. None of these are related to the Reno 8 core group. A comparison of all three is available here.
You may also expect a comprehensive review of the Reno 7 Lite 5G, which is currently in the works. The European Reno 8 Lite 5G, on the other hand, sports a 6.43-inch FullHD+ 60Hz AMOLED display with a punch hole in the upper left corner for a 16MP selfie camera.
A fingerprint reader is also embedded into the display. The rest of the camera is made up of a 64MP primary camera and two 2MP auxiliary sensors — one for depth data and the other for macro photos.
In the Reno 8 Lite 5G, the Snapdragon 695 chipset includes 8GB of RAM (expandable by up to 5GB through virtual memory) and 128GB of expandable storage. The lights are kept on by a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W quick charging capabilities.
Specifications And Characteristics Of The Oppo Reno 8 Lite
Other unusual features include 5G SA/NSA compatibility, a 3.5mm audio connector, NFC, and a low IPX4 ingress protection rating. We also expect the lovely blue ring aura lighting beneath the rear cameras to be present.
The phone, which measures 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 173 g, is available in two colors: Cosmic Black and the far more intriguing Rainbow Spectrum. The Reno 8 Lite 5G has a carrier price of EUR 429 in Spain and should be available later this month.
