– NIMC Registration: How to link upto seven SIM cards (Glo, MTN, 9mobile and Airtel) to one nin using NIMC mobile Android apk app
The National Identity Management Commission for Nigeria (NIMC) has brought our information to help citizens of the country link their NIN through their mobile app, to seven SIM cards. But it’s been said, that for one to use the app, one must have their NIN. The Nigeria government is using this means to identify every citizen of the country.

As of last year, NCC and the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami gave a deadline of 30th December 2020 for subscribers to update their details or risk blocking their lines.
Later on, it was extended to 19th January 2021.
But as of recent, the deadline is on the 9th of February, 2021 and this extension is for those that are yet to get their NIN (National Identity Number).
However, if you are yet to get your NIN and obviously you might not be too sure to get it done before the said deadline, here is a way you could get your line linked with NIN using the NIMC Android apk app to avoid getting blocked.

Steps to link up to seven SIM cards to one nin using NIMC mobile Android apk app
Follow the steps below to link up to 7 sims on a NIN!
- Download the NIMC app from Google PlayStore and register, if you have not.
- Input your log-in details (six digit pin).
- Once you’ve logged in, click on “my devices“.
- Add the phone number you want to link, together with your NIN.
- An SMS will be sent to the phone number you want to link which is your One Time authentication code for verification.
- Complete the process by inputting the OTP received.
- Repeat the same process for as many numbers you want to link.
Note that, maximum numbers that can be linked to a NIN is Seven (7), so be sure to link important numbers.

NIN is supposed to be free, but in Aniocha Local Government Council NIN staffs are collecting money from people before issuing NIN to them. It’s very annoying.
