WhatsApp has been working on the development of the dark theme for the application for a while now.
No official date yet of when this feature is to be made available, but the version 2.19.294 speaks a better step in the right direction. With the management of emoji’s that now respect the dark theme. Information got it that, the dark theme is not actually available in the beta, it is still new in the code that is not applicable. WABetaInfo acted directly on the apk to activate the functionality.
Furthermore, it is worth to mention that the specialized WABetaInfo site has previously discovered that Whatsapp developers are currently also testing the self-destruction of messages in a beta version for a small handful of users.
Also discovered that in WhatsApp’s group conversations, a “Disappearing Messages” option should appear. This feature can be accessed only if you are a group admin, just so you can access the group settings.
We also noticed that it is possible to edit the delay of deleting messages. Only two choices we have in the test version: 5 seconds and one hour.
We hope for more options just so we can decide to input time intervals ourselves.
WABetaInfo specifies that the date of official deployment of this great feature on WhatsApp is still yet to be known.
