This post is basically for those who gets data connection always switching from 4g to 3g and most times gets to 2g connection.
This occurs mostly when network coverage signal 📶 is poor in a particular area.
Most Devices Have The Options For
- 4g only mode.
- 4g preferable mode.
- 4g, 3g mode.
- 3g, 2g mode
- 3g mode only
How to confirm
- Go to settings >>>
- Network settings or Mobile Network to confirm what options is available.
For those who don’t have the option for 4g only mode can get it done by simply dialing a one time code.
Procedure:
- Dial *#*#4636#*#*
- Now go to phone information
- Set preferred network type
- Now select LTE only
Wait for it to change and you can now spend whole time on 4g mode only without network mode fluctuating over to any other network mode.
Note: You can always change preferred network type at any time.
