The iPhone 14 series devices are now official after apple announced them recently, they might not have every premium features of the Pro models but they are still very much the most accessible amongst the others , all thanks to their affordable price.

Apple has increased the battery replacement cost in its iPhone 14 series compared to previous versions. Last week, Apple announced its iPhone 14 series at its Far Out event that also displayed the unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch SE and AirPods Pro 2.
As for the iPhone 14 lineup, it includes the vanilla colored iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Every single model in the iPhone 14 series lineup is said to have a better battery life performance than its previous versions.
According to Apple, the standard iPhone 14 has up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 80 hours of audio playback, while the iPhone 14 Plus will give you up to 26 hours of video playback and up to 100 hours of audio playback.
Then for the Pro, Apple says it can do up to 23 hours of video playback and 75 hours of audio playback on a single charge, while the Pro Max has a claimed battery life of up to 29 hours of video playback and 95 hours of audio playback
Also According to Apple’s official support page, replacing the battery on any of the iPhone 14 models will cost roughly $99 instead of the previous $69 it costs users to replace the battery on older devices like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12.
The new rate of cost applies to all four iPhone 14 models, this implies that users won’t have a lower charge for the vanilla colored iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro, which ship with a little bit smaller batteries than the ones on the Plus and the Pro Max series.
Despite the increased cost of these new batteries, users will still have a special way to get their batteries replaced for free. According to Apple, iPhone 14 battery replacement will be given at no additional cost to those that have AppleCare+, which costs just 199 dollars.
However, battery replacement isn’t the only thing that has become more expensive with the iPhone 14 series line up. For example,the screen replacements for the iPhone 14 Pro Max would cost just 379 dollars instead of 329 dollars for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, although it would still have only cost 29 dollars with AppleCare+ like the older generations.
Apple’s reason for increasing the battery replacement charges for the iPhone 14 series lineup is not quite known at the moment, as the new set of phones that ship with similar battery sizes compared to last year’s models. According to several reports at the moment, the vanilla iPhone 14 comes with a 3,279 mAh battery, similar to the 3,227 mAh battery on the iPhone 13 released last year.
The Pro model ships with a 3,200mAh battery life, which is about 3 percent bigger than the one of the iPhone 13 Pro. The Pro Max reportedly has a 4,323mAh battery life, which is a a little bit smaller than the 4,352 mAh battery on Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max.
