Whatsapp Ban
Just to let you know, whatsApp will stop working on some devices soon! How soon? Obviously weeks more!

Many WhatsApp users could likely face a major issue later this month when a new block comes into implementation. Whatsapp chat app has been warning users with older phones for a little while in regards to the discontinuation of whatsapp if they do not upgrade their mobile device to continue using the app service. Funny enough, we are in weeks now and not months any more!

WhatsApp has just confirmed on its official support page that anyone with a Windows mobile will totally lose access from December 31, 2019. And that is not all, we have got more for you to know.

The deadline for ageing Windows smartphone isn’t just for them alone, iPhones running anything older than IOS 7 will experience total block and also Android devices with versions 2.3.7 installed. This iPhone and Android block to fully come into action from February 1, 2020.

Just If you love WhatsApp and have any of the devices mentioned – or haven’t yet updated your operating system in a few years. Kindly visit a phone shop to get an upgrade of the device or better still get a more recent device with latest versions to stay in the service.

We have gathered lists of some devices WHATSAPP STOPPED WORKING ON and for sure the dates of ban and blocking.

  1. Nokia Symbian S60 after June 30, 2017
  2. BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 after December 31, 2017
  3. Nokia S40 after December 31, 2018
  4. All Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019
  5. Android versions 2.3.7 and older after February 1, 2020
  6. iPhone iOS 7 and older after February 1, 2020

In justification of whatsapp decision to stop supporting older hardware, WhatsApp said in a blog post: “As we look ahead to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use.

“While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future. This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp.

“If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone to continue using WhatsApp.”

This news update comes as WhatsApp appears to be getting ever closer to launching a Dark Mode feature. Rumours have it that the Facebook-owned firm will release this update in the coming months probably next year but no exact date, with more and more screenshots of how this upgrade will look when finally integrated.

The update could help to improve battery life. If true, it appears that Dark Mode could get a new option which will allow users to choose the theme based on their battery-saving settings. The latest leak, which was confirmed via the team at WABetainfo.

This should mean that if things are running low, and you switch to a low power mode, WhatsApp will automatically turn dark to help conserve what is left in the battery 🔋 life. This update is definitely going to beat other applications without the battery 🔋 saving feature.

Just as we all anticipate for the dark mode, we have got no official date on when it would be available, but don’t worry about that, droidvilla.com will be available to get all informations regarding the Dark mode feature available to you always.
