The House Of The Dragon Is a prequel to the loved HBO series “Game of Thrones”, the adaptation of the George R.R. Martin fantasy novel “A Game of Thrones”.
The Television series released 21 August 2022 is based off the Fire and Blood novel released back in 2018.
It foretells the activities leading to the great Targaryen civil war over the control of the iron throne, an event that almost led to the extinction of the Targaryen bloodline.
The first season runs for 10 episode with the final episode airing 23 October 2022.
Episode 1 Of The House Of The Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (21 August 2022)
After the naming of Viserys I as the new successor for the iron throne over his cousin Rhaenys, there is a time jumps where King Viserys I holds a tournament to celebrate the birth of his second child.
Rhaenyra the daughter of King Viserys I welcomes her uncle Daemon back to the Red keep.
Episode 2: The Rogue Prince (28 August 2022)
After the death of King Viserys’s wife, he is pressured into taking a new wife by his council and he agrees.
Meanwhile Daemon reveals in a letter that his mistress Mysaria, is pregnant and he plans to take her as a second wife after stealing a dragon egg.
The egg is later retrieved by Princess Rhaenyra after the failure of the Kings hand.
Episode 3: Second of His Name (4 September 2022)
The alliance Daemon, Lord Corlys, his army and their Dragons battle the crab feeder and his army.
The realm celebrate Aegon’s second name day while Rhaenyra is bombarded with marriage proposals.
Episode 4: King of the Narrow Sea (11 September 2022)
Daemon declares himself king of the stepstones and the narrow sea after conquering all but two islands, crowned by lord Corlys Valeyron.
Episode 5: We Light the Way (18 September 2022)
Daemon visits his enstranged wife in the vale, Viserys and Rhaenyra broker an agreement with the Valeyrons while Alicent investigate the princess.
Episode 6: The Princess and the Queen (25 September 2022)
After years of marriage, Rhaenyra struggles with the insistent speculation by the queen Alicent about the true paternity of her children.
Daemon and his wife Laena Valayron consider a certain offer in Pentos.
Episode 7: Driftmark (2 October 2022)
As the royal family comes together for a funeral, Viserys orders that they ceas their conflict while his wife Alicent demands justice and ries to take it.
Episode 8: The Lord of Tides (9 October 2022)
With King Viserys I very ill and delirious, he calls for peace amongst his family member and later that night.
He confuses his wife Alicent for his daughter Rhaenyra and gives her a dying message.
Episode 9: The Green council (16 October 2022)
With the death of King Viserys I, tension arises within the palace as Queen Alicent tries to keep things in order without the news of the Kings death leaving the forewalls of the palace.
Episode 10: The Black Queen (23 October 2022)
