There must have been a point in your life when you’ve sent a voice message to someone that you regretted immediately.
If WhatsApp is your main messaging app, you’ll now be able to preview voice messages to know if it’s something you really want to be delivered.
This is an improvement that Meta is bringing to its WhatsApp voice message. Sending a voice message is easier than typing out all you want to say to someone. Regardless, the tendency to ramble on and on is there.

Earlier, you could only send or delete it without getting the chance to check it they’re good enough but now, WhatsApp is giving you a chance to rehearse your voice messages by allowing you listen to a preview before deciding what to do with it.
You could test it by pressing your stop button,after you’ve recorded your message, you’ll now see a triangular play icon which you can tap on to listen to it again.
You can decide whether you’re going to trash it and record a new one or to just send it like that.
Though, it would be really nice if there was an edit option or an option to add something else to the already recorded message but for now, we’ll have to be contented with the audio message preview.
The voice message preview has started rolling out to WhatsApp users for now. It’s now available on mobile, web, and desktop.
