- Step 1 : Go to photos.google.com on your web browser
- Step 2 : Select the album you’d like to download
- Step 3 : Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top right corner
- Step 4 : Tap on “Download All” from the menu
- Step 5 : Tap on “Download All” again.
After clicking on that, a new tab will be briefly opened.
Then, you can start downloading the ZIP file that contains the photos and videos. You can unzip the files to see its contents afterwards. Easy right? This is an extra measure of security and a good thing to do.
You never can tell when something would happen to your library in Google Photos. By doing this, you’ll have backups offline for safekeeping.
